Seeing out the year in style
Cadets and staff at 59 Squadron celebrated a successful 2007 by holding a ball at the Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top. As well as the traditional disco, the Squadron was entertained by live music from Shelley Music Centre.
During the last twelve months, cadets have helped out at local events such as the Honley Show and Race for Life, made trips to RAF stations in the UK and made overseas visits to Cyprus and Ghana.
The Squadron also raised money for a national Air Training Corps project in November by packing bags at Sainsbury’s, Shorehead.
