59 Squadron, Huddersfield

Cadets at 59 Squadron in Huddersfield are celebrating after winning the South and West Yorkshire Wing swimming competition.

59 Squadron took the overall title after beating the other 32 squadrons in the Wing, as well as winning the Junior Girls, Senior Boys and relay titles.

“Sport plays a large part of the activities we do as a Squadron,” said the Squadron’s commander, Flight Lieutenant Gill Baker. “And it’s always good to see a new geneation of young cadets following on the tradition of sporting excellence.”
